Talking about his character John’s role in the bunker, Gerard Butler said, “He`s able to build things, he`s able to fix things, and that`s been his job in this community, keeping a lot of those things going in the bunker. He also has taken it upon himself, which is a bit of a sacrifice, basically, because whenever you go out into the elements, even if you have a suit on, you`re still getting pummeled with radiation, you`re still getting a leakage of pollution into your lungs. But he goes out and he scavenges and he finds things that will help them back down in the bunker to fix things, whether it`s a spanner or a pipe or whatever he can get."

Speaking about her character Alison, Morena Baccarin said, "Alison is, I guess, much like myself, a no-BSer. She really doesn`t beat around the bush. She`s somebody that`s fiercely protective of her family and really very driven to be a good person, a good member of the community. I really loved how strong Alison was, how she wasn`t a damsel in distress, that she was fighting for her family and her survival and her kid. I think it`s very interesting to see a very sort of, quote unquote, normal family going through extraordinary circumstances in a way that a lot of people in the world go through and don`t necessarily get highlighted."

Talking about the film’s themes, director Ric Roman Waugh said, “Greenland: Migration is the next chapter of the Garrity family. It explores survival, legacy, and what we pass on to future generations. It’s about not just surviving, but also what we leave behind.”

Roman Griffin Davis shared what drew him to the sequel, “I enjoyed the first film, but what interested me more was my character’s journey. It was also an opportunity to work with a great team. Disaster films resonate because they reflect extreme versions of real-world struggles.”

The 54-year-old actor has Ella, Michael, Brendan, and Grace with wife Rhea Durham.

He told Us Weekly magazine: “I’ve only tried to be an example to my kids and not force my faith on them. And hopefully they see that it really works for me, and they gravitate towards it on their own.”

Wahlberg’s youngest daughter, Grace, recently celebrated her First Communion and he is "very, very happy" with the teenager`s commitment to her faith, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

He said: “After being baptised and making your communion, you’re actually making a commitment to pursue this relationship with God throughout your adult life. It’s a beautiful thing.”

Meanwhile, the actor is known for his early morning gruelling workout regime and recently premiered his 4am Club Challenge series on YouTube.

Wahlberg has dismissed people who don`t believe he really does get up so early.

He told E! News: “I really do this. I`ll get up at three o`clock—if I get to bed at a decent time. I always try to get eight hours of sleep. This is my daily routine, and I try to get as much done before I go to work or before I`m getting the kids up.”

While the actor feels some social media stars only show off their workouts "for the `gram", he is keen for fans to see his authentic experiences.

He said: “We`re trying to share what we do and how we become successful, and we want to challenge people to be the best versions of themselves.”

He hopes the 4am Club Challenge proves to be inspirational.

The actor said: “There`ll be a big content component to reward people and give them the recognition that they deserve for what they`ve accomplished in their fitness journey. And then inspire other people at home who look just like them who don`t think it`s possible.

“It`s not about what I`m doing, it`s really about what you`re doing, challenging people to be the best versions of themselves. Whenever your 4am is, that`s all that matters. You get in there, you kill it and then you`re gonna have a better chance of being successful at everything else that you do.”

The 55-year-old filmmaker`s upcoming blockbuster brings Homer`s epic ancient Greek story to the big screen and he explained that he had an "amazing time" shooting the movie during a hectic production process across Morocco, Greece, Italy, Iceland and Scotland, reports ‘Female First UK’.

Speaking at a presentation for The Odyssey at CinemaCon, Nolan said, "This has been a nightmare to film, but in all the right ways”.

As per ‘Female First UK’, the attendees at CinemaCon in Las Vegas got an extended glimpse of The Odyssey, which will be released in July, and Nolan explained that he decided to adapt Homer`s story for the cinema because it "has fascinated generation after generation".

The auteur said, "Why The Odyssey? The Odyssey is a story that has fascinated generation after generation for 3,000 years. It`s not a story. It`s the story”.

The picture tells the story of Odysseus, the Greek king of Ithaca, and his long and perilous journey home to reunite with his wife Penelope (played by Anne Hathaway) following the Trojan War and Nolan quipped that the film`s cast, which also includes Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Zendaya and Charlize Theron, is so talent-filled that he couldn`t bring all of the stars to CinemaCon.

According to Variety, Paramount announced Tom Cruise`s return to the franchise along with producer Jerry Bruckheimer. They also confirmed the film is officially in the works.

A sequel to Joseph Kosinski`s 2022 blockbuster Top Gun: Maverick, the third instalment was first revealed to be in development in 2024 with writer Ehren Kruger. `Maverick` was a blockbuster hit, even during the times when the theatres struggled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

It collected USD 1.5 billion at the global box office with a budget of USD 170 million.

Cruise also returned for the second instalment, 36 years after he debuted as Lieutenant Pete `Maverick` Mitchell in the 1986 original. His character went back to the famous flight school to teach a new batch of pilots for a dangerous mission.

It is then that he crosses paths with Bradley Bradshaw (Miles Teller), the son of his best friend who died in the first film.

Melbourne nightclub ex-manager alleges Perry and Rose were drunk

In an interview with the Herald Sun, as per Rolling Stone Australia, the ex-manager of the Melbourne nightclub Spice Market claimed the night in question was a "security nightmare."

Recalling the instance, the manager shared, “They came in together. They were also with Katy`s hair and make-up girl and another guy who was friends with Ruby,” he claimed. “It was a security nightmare because there were 600 people there, and Katy kept coming out and dancing with everybody and going right in the middle of the mosh pit.”

However, he denied witnessing the alleged incident. “They were in the Genie Bottle and having drinks and stuff, but were mainly in there doing their own thing,” the manager said. “I wasn`t aware of any alleged assault or someone vomiting.”

He claimed that Rose and Perry were both “drunk” and were escorted to exit secretly. “Both had way too much to drink,” he alleged. “To avoid people taking photos of them in that state, we organized a car and driver. We escorted them out the back and up the fire exit and put them in the car together.”

Rose came forward with the allegation on Sunday night, writing on Threads that Katy Perry had allegedly sexually assaulted her at a club in Melbourne when they were both in their early 20s.

A police investigation is underway in Australia after the singer was accused.

Earlier, Marseille mayor Benoit Payan called out Kanye West`s upcoming performance in the city and wrote, "I refuse to let Marseille be a showcase for those who promote hatred and unapologetic Nazism. Kanye West is not welcome at the Velodrome, our temple of living together and of all Marseillais."

According to Variety, French Interior Minister Laurent Nunez reportedly met Payan and the prefect of the Provence-Alpes-Cote d`Azur region, Jacques Witkowski, to discuss barring West from performing in Marseille.

On April 7, the UK government denied Kanye West`s entry into the country after he was scheduled to headline London`s Wireless Festival in July.

Major festival sponsors also pulled out of the festival after his booking, though none explicitly named West as the reason. While Prime Minister Keir Starmer and London Mayor Sadiq Khan publicly denounced both Kanye West and the festival`s decision to book him, the rapper was then denied a visa on April 7, as per The Hollywood Reporter.

Australian police investigating Katy Perry

The Victoria Police confirmed investigating the matter via a statement to Variety, which read, “Melbourne sexual offences and child abuse investigation team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating (an alleged) historical sexual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010. Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.”

Ruby Rose`s accusations

Rose recently came forward Sunday night accusing Perry. She made the shocking claims on Threads, saying Perry had allegedly sexually assaulted her at a club in Melbourne when they were both in their early 20s. Notably, Rose is now 40 years old, while Perry is 41.

“Katy Perry sexual assaulted me at spice market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a shit what she thinks,” Rose wrote while responding to a post from Complex sharing Perry’s reaction to Justin Bieber’s Coachella set.

This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief.”

A representative for Perry earlier denied the claim to Variety. Their statement read, “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous reckless lies. Ms Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

The 68-year-old actor was holding a prop gun on the set of the Western in October 2021 when it discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza, and Baldwin was wrapped up in a lengthy legal case as he faced manslaughter charges in connection with the case, reports ‘Female First UK’.

The charges against the star were dismissed twice and the case is over, but he is still struggling with the fallout from the tragedy.

He told The Hollywood Reporter, “We had this incident, this tragedy, in New Mexico, where Halyna Hutchins was killed on the set of the film, and that was unspeakably difficult to deal with. Because of the situation in New Mexico, which was very painful, I wound up staying home a lot. I was home with my kids for three-and-a-half years, I hardly worked at all, and that’s just changing now. I’m going to go off and do a bunch of things”.

Bhosle`s granddaughter and singer Zanai responded, "Truly her natural element".

Bhosle died on Sunday at the age of 92 due to multiple organ failure.

One of the greatest names ever in Indian playback singing, Bhosle recorded over 12,000 songs across 20 languages in her career spanning eight decades.

She was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008.

Her last rites were performed on Monday in Mumbai and had several notable attendees across the industries, who arrived to pay their respects to the late singer.

The New York-set crime pic, based on the William Lashner novel, is the story of a mysterious stranger who takes on the city`s criminal underworld, transforming himself into a larger-than-life boss in a city where power is everything. 

Ross directs from a screenplay by Jonathan Ames (You Were Never Really Here) with revisions by Ross, as per Deadline. Lashner`s novel is a re-imagining of Franz Kafka`s classic Metamorphosis in which a man wakes up to find that he has been transformed into a cockroach, so we hear there`s a fun supernatural element to the movie. 

Sennott is currently leading the writers room on season two of HBO hit I Love LA, which is expected to shoot this year. Her role in Kockroach isn`t expected to take her away from the series for long.

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, Nicole said during a Silk Speaker Series talk at the University of San Francisco`s War Memorial Gym: "As my mother was passing, she was lonely, and there was only so much the family could provide.”

“Between my sister and I, we have so many children and our careers and our work, and wanting to take care of her because my father wasn`t in the world anymore, and that`s when I went, ‘I wish there was these people in the world that were there to sit impartially and just provide solace and care.` So that`s part of my expansion and one of the things I will be learning."

The actress isn`t the only famous face to reveal plans to be a death doula, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

In 2021, Riley Keough shared that she had undergone training and found supporting others proved to be helpful with her own grief over her brother Benjamin Keough taking his own life in July 2020.

Since the franchise’s debut in 2010, Insidious has become one of the most enduring and successful horror series of all time, grossing more than 740 million dollar worldwide. Directed by Jacob Chase, Sony Pictures Entertainment India will release Insidious: Out of the Further in India in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on 21st August, 2026.

Since it’s a prequel to the original films, 2010’s Insidious and 2013’s Insidious: Chapter 2, stars Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne won’t appear in the sixth entry. Instead, Amelia Eve, Brandon Perea, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Sam Spruell, and Laura Gordon will lead the cast. Jacob Chase wrote and directed the film, with Jason Blum producing it.

Talking about CinemaCon, the annual gathering of cinema owners and Hollywood studios, is hosted in Las Vegas by Cinema United, formerly known as the National Association of Theatre Owners. This year’s edition runs from April 13–16.

He was performing again at Rowfest at the University of Arkansas recently. The rapper took to his Instagram, and shared a video of himself on the stage in a wheelchair before rising to his feet as the crowd cheered.

During the show, the rapper wore a skeleton face mask, and appeared to stand for the performance. However, the chair was close to him in case he needed to rest.

His mother later celebrated the rapper on social media, as she said in a video shared on The Shade Room`s Instagram account, "I don`t typically address things about my son on social media... but today I have to speak. Six days ago my son was shot. Four days later, he was released from the hospital. Last night, he was on the stage doing what he loves to do. He is a miracle walking. That is God`s grace. That is God`s mercy. He loves us all. For every person who reached out, prayed, called, sent a text, thank you... Your kindness meant everything to me”.

The 34-year-old rapper sustained "non-life threatening injuries" in the incident, and after being discharged from hospital, he promised to "be better" and focus on the things that matter.

He took to his Instagram, and shared a note, as he wrote, "Thank you to everyone who’s checked in on me and showed me love! I’m good….but I’m planning to be better! I’m focused on my family, my recovery, and getting back to the music…realizing that life is made up of quiet wins and loud losses. Life’s a gamble and I’m still playing to win”.

As per reports, Lil Tjay, whose real name is Tione Jayden Merritt, was arrested and "charged in connection with the incident”.

He was charged with disorderly conduct.

The director wanted to bring Daniel H. Wilson`s 2011 novel to the big screen, but he worried it would be a "company-ender" if it failed to make back its estimated USD 200 million budget, reports ‘Female First UK’.

He told ‘Empire’ magazine, "It was gargantuan. It was a company-ender. It would have ended a whole studio that would have never made its money back".

He further mentioned, “My company, DreamWorks, financed all these films, and I did not want to bring Robo into my own company, because it would have just been too expensive for us to produce. And then I took it out to other companies”.

“I didn’t want to pay for it, but other companies were interested in paying for it, as long as I was the director. The budget was so high that I didn’t want to do that to anybody because I couldn’t guarantee the audience. I couldn’t even hope for a crowd that big that would justify that kind of a financial overreach. So, I literally decided it was going to be the most expensive movie I ever directed, and I wasn’t ready to take that on”, he added.

As per ‘Female First UK’, the director went on to reveal he has plenty more sci-fi films he still wants to make and he still hopes to eventually make his first horror movie.

It comes after the director recently acknowledged he also wants to make a Western and he`s got a project already in development, teasing the film will have "horses and guns" but he is trying to steer away from other conventions and "tropes" typically associated with the genre, though he didn`t give any plot details.

Speaking with The Big Picture at SXSW in Austin, Texas last month, he said, "Well, I`m developing a Western. And it`s gonna have horses. There will be guns. But there`ll be no tropes, I can just tell you that. There are gonna be no stereotypes, no tropes”.

The Jaws director has long discussed his desire to work on a Western.

Blake Lively plans to use Justin Baldoni`s interview about Britney Spears

The actress plans to use a 2017 clip of Baldoni recalling his awkward interaction with Britney Spears when the singer guest-starred in an episode of his show Jane the Virgin, the Daily Mail reported.

In an old interview with Fuse, Baldoni admitted that he was a huge fan of the pop star in high school, and he couldn`t wait to see her even though they didn`t have any scenes together.

“I had gone up to her and in my mind, we’re friends,” he said laughingly, noting that they had tweeted at each other earlier, but “We weren’t.”

Recalling the awkward interaction, he said, “And I went up and I gave her … I went, ‘Hey!,’ and I gave her a big hug and I think I scared her, because she was like, ‘Hi,’ and I just had this awkward moment of, like, ‘Did I just harass Britney Spears?`”

 Now, Lively will be using the anecdote to prove her claims of harassment against Baldoni.

Blake Lively plans to hide her wealth

As per the legal documents referenced by TMZ, Lively has asked the court to exclude any mention of her and Ryan Reynolds’ net worth during the proceedings.

Since the couple is reportedly worth around 380 million dollars, Lively’s legal team is afraid that bringing this information to light could bias the jury. They fear the jurors may dismiss her claims or view her grievances as insignificant due to her financial standing.

Lively had previously alleged that she suffered losses amounting to USD 161 due to the smear campaign, making her current move to hide her wealth more significant. The situation is also complicated by the fact that a judge has already dismissed her defamation claim, raising questions about the relevance of that financial figure in the trial.

Blake Lively wants to block references to Ryan Reynolds` character

Apart from the financial matters, Blake Lively has also moved to block any references to the character played by Ryan Reynolds in the films Deadpool & Wolverine. The character, named Nicepool, allegedly mocks Baldoni. Baldoni’s legal team had reportedly intended to use this portrayal to argue that Lively and Reynolds engaged in bullying behaviour, reported Times Now. However, a judge has already ruled that this line of evidence is irrelevant and cannot be introduced in court.

The film follows a perennial bachelor whose carefree life is upended when he unexpectedly inherits his cousin`s infant child. Just as he gets a grip on life as a dad, complications arise when the child’s godmother appears around the holidays to claim custody of her. What ensues is a love story neither saw coming, reported Deadline. 

Best known for the teen comedy The DUFF, Ari Sandel most recently directed Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween for Sony. The film is penned by Tamara Chestna, a writer with credits like Something from Tiffany and Moxie under her belt.

The singer has had a productive couple of months, premiering his musical dramedy Power Ballad to critical acclaim at SXSW and more recently signing on to star opposite Kathryn Newton in White Elephant.

Nick Jonas calls Priyanka Chopra`s Varanasi `incredible`

Praising his wife, Nick said that Priyanka has been shooting for the pan-India blockbuster Varanasi for over 14 months. "Priyanka has been shooting for the last like 14 months on and off. It`s a South Indian film by SS Rajamouli, who directed RRR. It`s his next big film. It`s gonna be incredible," he said in a podcast on Zach Sang Show. 

The film is set to release on April 7, 2027.

The 48-year-old rapper created the drawings and paintings as a teenager while studying at Polaris School in Chicago, and they were first brought to wider attention when they were made public in 2021, reports ‘Female First UK’.

At the time, the works were valued between USD 16,000 and USD 23,000. Katy Perry reacts to Ruby Rose allegations

Singer-songwriter Katy Perry has vehemently denied the allegations of sexual assault levelled by Ruby Rose. The singer, 41, responded through a representative after actress Ruby, 40, made a series of posts on Threads alleging an incident at a Melbourne nightclub when she was in her 20s, reports ‘Female First UK’.

In a statement to Page Six, Katy’s representative said, “The allegations being circulated on social media by Ruby Rose about Katy Perry are not only categorically false, they are dangerous, reckless lies.”

They added, “Rose has a well-documented history of making serious public allegations on social media against various individuals, claims that have repeatedly been denied by those named.”

Her claims were made in response to a post by Complex Music referencing Katy’s reaction to Justin Bieber and his Coachella 2026 performance. As per Female First UK, Ruby said it had taken her “almost two decades” to speak publicly about the alleged incident.

She wrote on Threads, “Katy Perry sexually assaulted me at Spice Market nightclub in Melbourne. Who gives a s*** what she thinks.” She further mentioned, “So grateful to have made it long enough to find my voice. It just shows how much of an impact trauma and sexual assault take. Thank you for seeing me.”

Ruby provided further details of the alleged incident in additional posts on Threads. She said, “(Katy) didn’t kiss me. She saw me ‘resting’ on my best friend’s lap to avoid her and bent down, pulled her underwear to the side, and rubbed her disgusting private parts on my face until my eyes snapped open and I projectile vomited on her. After it, I threw up on her. I told the story publicly but changed it to be a ‘funny little drunk story’ because I didn’t know how else to handle it. Later, she agreed to help me get my US visa, so I kept it a secret. But I DID tell y’all she wasn’t a good person.”

Rose also said she had photos supporting her claim and that several people witnessed the incident. She also said that she filed a police report on Sunday, though she did not clarify if it was about the alleged assault or another issue mentioned online.
