  The government is in process of making protocols for distribution so we should see it in about 2 months for general public.

2. Do we all need to take it?

  Yes, I recommend that everyone should take it. It will have more benefits for the population with minimal risks.

3. Who will get it first?

  The Frontline workers and staff, civil servants, police, army, politicians and their relatives will likely get it first.

4. Is the vaccine safe? What are the side effects expected?

  The safety and efficacy of the vaccine has been thoroughly examined by drug regulatory committee of India.

Most common side effects observed and reported so far are mild fever, local pain, body aches.

5. What is the recommended dose and schedule?

  Two doses given 28 days apart.

6. Do you need to take it even if you had COVID?

  Yes, it will create a better antibody protection against the virus.

7. Will the vaccine help if i have an active COVID infection?

  No, it may not help with an active infection but it is preferable to take the vaccine after 2-3 weeks post infection.

8. Can a pregnant lady or a lactating mother take the vaccine?

  Unfortunately, no company has yet tested the vaccine in pregnancy. Also, CDC has advised against giving the vaccine to pregnant and lactating mothers as of now.

It’s too soon to predict that. Studies are underway, as the vaccine reaches the masses, we will have more information and clarity of the matter.

12. Can I roam around without a mask once I am vaccinated?

  No, not as of now. It would be wise to continue to wear masks until we have studies of post vaccination antibody response.

"I want to ensure medical and education care through my initiatives," says the eminent doctor who is known for his exemplary work which has taken him on a high pedestal on a global platform. He learnt the basics of implants at a time when that term was relatively new in India. After gaining years of experience and performing many successful implant surgeries across the world, Dr.Iyer has become one of the best known names in the medical profession. Patients vouch for his impeccable work which has made him one of the most sought after implant specialists in the industry. Along with managing his private practice which specialises in dental implants and reconstructive dentistry, he also holds the position of a clinical assistant professor at Rutgers University, New Jersey.

His model in dentistry has never been explored before. All of the patients get free tests before their dentures so that their quality of life can be improved by enhancing their general health. Many of the undetected diseases were revealed and proper medical treatment provided.

Dr Iyer`s `Smile USA Foundation` has tied up with Reliance foundation for its educative initiatives. They provide the right opportunities to Indian dentists who want to pursue higher education in the universities and academies based in the United States. This initiative helps them bag American certifications for completed courses which are great for enhancing their career prospects. Dr Iyer wants to give a special mention to Mr. Mukesh Ambani, the towering business magnate of India, without whose support this project would not have been possible. Dr Iyer`s foundation in collaboration with Reliance foundation has also initiated this unique course which is not available anywhere in the world offering training in oro facial pain, temporomandibular disorders and dental sleep medicine. This course was conducted at the Reliance hospital in Mumbai. Mr.Ambani was facilitated by Dr Iyer at the graduation ceremony of this course.

Dr Iyer has trained more than 3,000 dentists from various parts of the world and he has attended more than 100+ international conferences in 30 countries, having conducted more than 10,000 implants till date. He has received the highest recognition from the Indian Dental Association who have honoured him with the prestigious `Sushrutha Award`, which is indeed a great achievement.

Myth #1: Success with IVF is a thing of Chance.

Our take: False

The results of an IVF cycle depend on various factors e.g. age, life style, nutrition level, hormonal status etc. and there are a number of things that can be done to optimize your results. Myth #2: Strict bed rest after embryo transfer is a must.

Our take: False

This is an absolute myth. Some studies show that, complete bed rest actually reduce the success rate. We encourage our patients to go back to routine activity after an embryo transfer and not put their life on hold.

Myth # 3: IVF increases risk of birth defects in the baby

Our take: Not so.

Even naturally conceived children have a 3 – 5% risk of birth defects. The risk is no more than that in IVF conceived babies. Most babies are normal and fine.

Myth # 4: IVF means multiple births

Our take: Need not be so.

The increased risk of a multiple pregnancy during fertility treatment, is due to medication used and number of embryos transferred. Younger women are more likely to have twins. At Cocoon Fertility we transfer 2 or 3 excellent quality embryos to give optimum outcomes.

Myth # 5: Freezing of embryos, harms the baby.

Our take: False

Embryo Freezing / Vitrification does not harm the embryos. Almost all healthy embryos will survive the freeze-thaw process. Research suggests that babies born from frozen embryos do not have a higher rate of birth defects compared to fresh embryos. The Cocoon Fertility Freeze Thaw protocols have excellent pregnancy rates compared to international standards.

Myth # 6: IVF harms the woman’s health

Our take: False

IVF involves stimulation of the ovaries with hormone injections. At our centre, the dose of hormones needed is individualized for each patient and given only for the optimum required duration, hence no long term issues are seen. Neither the stimulation nor IVF will reduce the ovarian reserve and do not increase the risk of premature menopause. The risk of hyper stimulation is only around 2% of all women that have IVF.

Myth # 7: IVF is very costly

Our take: False

The song is a chartbuster, but to know what went into the filming and creating the new version, we spoke to one of the producers of the recreation, Viral Motani. "I do realise that there has lately been a lot of genuine concerns and questions regarding musicians coming up with remixed versions of classics. All the questions and criticism are well-founded as I believe that any song`s essence cannot and should not be taken away from it by any means. We came up with the idea of recreating `Ek Ladki Bheegi Bhaagi Si` in January 2020. We had to make sure that we don`t tweak it so much that we lose its originality."

The new version has received a lot of coverage and has been a favourite on playlists of individuals and clubs, and other commercial establishments.

When asked about any problems they may have faced during the song`s recreation and promotion, he said, "It was a tough job considering that Kishore Da has sung the original piece. We couldn`t do anything to mess that composition up. Pakkhi Hegde & Manoj Lakhiani are the other two producers of the song, and for a year, we created as many as 18 versions of the song. We just had to be sure about the piece that we would come out with eventually. Initially, we invested in this project and another one ourselves. We need investors who will work with us on such projects. Some investors, from India and other places too, are now showing interest in what we do. It`s a success for us and what we are trying to do."

The producers used a rather unique way of song promotion. In Gujarat, they ran an on-ground campaign to make people aware that they are coming out with a new version of the Kishore Da classic, and so far, the results are more than positive. Motani and the team have also recreated` Mera Dil Bhi Kitna Pagal Hai`, a hit from the 90s, which has received an equally positive response and feedback. The objective seems to be pretty straightforward, to be known as `The Masters of Recreations`.

On the financial side, after the release, Saregama Music, it`s been reported, has had as many as 927 crores surge in its market capitalisations. On March 1, the MCAP was at 1835 crores, and now it is at 2763 crores. Some reports even suggest that the stock prices of Saregama India climbed as much as 50% on the NSE. The Saregama India stock had risen 5% more when filing this report, and the MCAP was at 3030 crores.

"I am happy to know that we were a part of something that was so well received and helped us help Saregama gain in the market. My team members and I hope that this opens up new investor avenues for us and many more like us who want to create new music while respecting and cherishing the classics. We need investors who will work with us on such projects. We plan to go public by 2023 with our production companies, under the titles `White Billionaire & Beyond Music`, Motani concluded.
