Years after their much-publicised social media feud during the Farmers' Protest, Kangana Ranaut has opened up about her equation with Diljit Dosanjh. The actress clarified that she holds no grudge against the singer-actor and would even be open to meeting him someday. Kangana also responded to a question about congratulating him after the success of Main Vaapas Aaunga.

Kangana on congratulating Diljit

In an interview with NDTV, Kangana was asked about Diljit and their past differences. She said, "We are not against each other. We just had contradictory opinions about a certain event. I've got nothing against that guy. We've never even met in life."

When asked if she would be open to meeting Diljit in the future, Kangana replied, "Why not?" However, when the actress was asked whether she would message Diljit if she liked his performance in Main Vaapas Aaunga, Kangana laughed and said, "That's too much, na?"

About Diljit and Kangana's feud

The public feud between Kangana Ranaut and Diljit Dosanjh dates back to their widely discussed clash during the 2020 Farmers' Protest. The controversy erupted when Kangana mistakenly identified an elderly woman participating in the protest as Bilkis Bano, a prominent figure from the Shaheen Bagh anti-CAA movement. Diljit countered her claim by sharing evidence that the woman was actually Mahinder Kaur, a 73-year-old farmer from Punjab.

What began as a disagreement soon snowballed into a heated exchange on social media, with Kangana calling Diljit "Karan Johar's chamcha" and Diljit accusing her of lacking basic courtesy, or "tameez."
