The 24-year-old actress was spotted earlier this week carrying a copy of Toxic Friends, a book by Susan Shapiro Barash about dealing with complicated friendships with female friends. Lindsay's ex Samantha Ronson, stood up for her on Twitter earlier in the week after Joan Rivers called Linds "so dumb".
