A look at IPL 2026 player trading window

The IPL 2026 transfer window lets teams overhaul squads by trading players, either for cash or through player swaps, ahead of the new season
Trades can be all-cash or player-for-player. For instance, MI bought Hardik Pandya back from GT in 2024 after he led them to a title in 2022
The first trade period runs 9 AM, June 10 (7 days post IPL 2025 finale) to 5 PM, 7 days before the IPL 2026 auction date
The second window opens 9 AM, the day after the auction ends, and closes 5 PM, 30 days before IPL 2026 starts
These transfer windows allow franchises to fix gaps, offload surplus players, and strike strategic deals to strengthen their line-ups
