One person was arrested on grounds of raping a 15-year old girl in Faridabad on Monday. The minor was picked up in an auto and raped on Saturday, following which a complaint was registered. The arrested individual is reportedly known to the minor, as he lives in the vicinity.

In yet another inhuman act, a 22-year-old woman was gang-raped in a moving car by three men here, the police said on Sunday. A special investigation team (SIT) has also been formed to probe the case.
The girl was abducted by the accused on Saturday evening when she was returning home after work. The accused raped the girl for two hours in the moving car and later dropped her near a petrol pump in Sikri. On a related note, the Faridabad Commissioner of Police (CP) was transferred on Monday, as per police officials.
