I am 20 and studying for my postgraduate degree. One of my classmates always looks at me and when he realises I am looking at him he turns his gaze away. He is really cute and I am attracted to him. I want to know him. I really want to show him I am interested, but I don't know what to say. I am sure he knows my name. Sometimes I feel like going to him to ask for help with the class work but I don't know how to react. How should I go about this ?

The next time the guy looks at you, just smile a bit. Maybe he, too, is wondering if you are interested in him or not! When you bump into him in the college corridors or in the canteen say a hi to him. Try striking a conversation about exams, professors and the class attendance. This will help break the ice. But your approach has to be extremely casual and don't appear like you are dying to know him. If he responds, it means he wants to get to know you too. Chances are that he is as hesitant as you are to make the first move, but someone has to do it.
