A generator unit caught fire during a shoot sequence on Friday. The sets were immediately evacuated and everyone escaped unhurt. The shoot was disrupted for a few hours.

David’s son Varun who features in the film with Nargis Fakhri and Ileana D’Cruz has been shooting for the film for the past several weeks in Bangkok. Says a unit source, “While the cast has been getting along like a house on fire, they were in for a shock to see fire on the sets. A generator to which the cast’s vanity vans were attached suddenly erupted in smoke.”

Adds the source, “The cast was taking a break and spending time in one van. Luckily, everyone could make a quick exit from the scene and no one was hurt. The shoot, however, was disrupted for quite a few hours.” Things are now back to normal and the stars apart from shooting have been spotted indulging in retail therapy. On Sunday, Varun was spotted in a sleeveless white tee and Nargis in a casual long dress at a mall in Bangkok picking up what caught their fancy.
