Whispers in the film industry circles suggest that YRF boss Aditya Chopra recently approached Deepika Padukone with a plum offer. Sources say the filmmaker was floored by the actress’ performance in 'Piku' and has instructed his team to come up with a script keeping her in mind.

Says a source, "Deepika has been waiting for a good opportunity to work with YRF and vice-versa. Recently, she was offered a film, but couldn’t take it up due to date issues. Before leaving for her London vacation, she met Aditya and following a discussion, he has got his team to work on the script. In a close door meeting, Aditya has asked them to pen a script just for Deepika."

The actress, who is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's 'Bajirao Mastani', was unavailable for comment.

Not very long ago, there were rumours that Dippy has been signed for Yash Raj's 'Sultan' opposite Salman Khan. However, she denied the buzz. Later, certain reports sugegsted that she would play Hrithik Roshan's ladylove in a project from the YRF stable. However, that too, faded out soon enough.

The spokesperson for the production house says, "Request you to wait for YRF to make the official announcements on forthcoming films and in the meantime, please refrain from casting speculations."
