St Andrew's (Bandra) girls put up an impressive show with a solitary goal win over MMK Junior College (Bandra) in the girls U-19 final of the DSO Mumbai Suburban District level football tournament, organised by Vision Sports Reconnect and Fairplay Sports Management at St Francis D'Assisi Ground, Borivli recently.


It was the third title for St Andrew's having won the girls U-19 and boys U-17 Subroto Mukherjee Junior College and High School tournaments previously.


After a barren first half, Aditi Shetty score the all-important goal for St Andrew's mid-way through the second half. Earlier, thanks to a goal from their captain Sacchi Munot, Dhirubhai Ambani (Bandra) bagged third place with a 1-0 win over Jamnabai Narsee.
