Kolkata: The newly-formed Advisory Committee consisting of legendary Indian cricketers -- Sachin Tendulkar, VVS Laxman and Sourav Ganguly — met for the first time at the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) on Saturday.

It is learnt that the trio advised the Board of Control for Cricket in India president Jagmohan Dalmiya and Secretary Anurag Thakur to organise more foreign tours for India ‘A’ teams.


They also stressed on recruiting more talent scouts across the country and advised all state associations to have an academy where the BCCI can help them develop.

Tendulkar flew back to Mumbai immediately after attending the meeting.
