Ajay Devgn's big leap forward?
Ajay Devgn is apparently looking at signing on more names to direct films under his production house
Looks like Ajay Devgn is eyeing expansion in the industry. After all, the actor-producer apparently plans to sign on more filmmakers to helm projects for his production house, Ajay Devgn Films.
While he’s currently working with Rohit Shetty on his co-production, Singham Returns, Ashwini Chaudhary, who started his career as an assistant with Devgan Films’ Dil Kya Kare, is writing a script for an action thriller to be made under the actor’s banner.
Ashwini Chaudhary says, “I narrated a few ideas to him and he liked one of them and asked me to develop it. I have just started writing the script.”
Meanwhile, choreographer-turned-director Remo D’Souza may also direct a film for Devgn’s banner. When contacted, Remo chose to not reveal much but he admitted that he has been in talks with Ajay. “Yes, we have discussed things, but nothing has been finalised as yet.’’
This apart, it is being said that filmmaker Leena Yadav is also on Devgn’s list; ditto for writer-editor-director Chandan Arora.
