Ajit Agarkar fit to play against Hyderabad
Skipper Ajit Agarkar is all set to join the Mumbai squad for their third Ranji Trophy tie against Hyderabad from November 24 to 27.
The veteran pacer missed the last match due to a calf injury during their Ranji opener against Railways at the Wankhede Stadium earlier this month.
“Agarkar is fully fit now and will play the next match. He will attend the selection meeting on November 20,” informed Mumbai Cricket Association’s joint secretary Nitin Dalal on Saturday.
Agarkar, who has 26 Tests and 191 ODIs under his belt, is just 15 wickets away from 300 first-class wickets.
