An Oregon woman brought a complaint of "unwanted sexual contact" by Gore in 2006, a statement from the District Attorney's office in Oregon confirmed.
The DA statement was made after media reports said Gore (62) was "accused of sexually attacking a masseuse" during a $540 appointment at a Portland hotel. The woman (54), a licensed massage therapist, alleged she was called to a hotel in Portland to massage Gore on October 24 in 2006 when he assaulted her.
The woman gave a statement saying she was "repeatedly subjected to unwanted sexual touching while in his presence" -- referring to Gore.u00a0 She reported that she was clothed during the alleged encounter but police did not collect her attire because they believed it would not provide evidence.
