Radical Islamists linked with Al-Qaeda are using an Internet site based in Britain to recruit extremists, a report has claimed.

The hate website includes instructions on how to contact the Brigade 313 network, which has attacked British and US troops in Afghanistan.

According to the Sun, the site also shows what appears to be a boy beheading a captured Pakistani soldier, militants firing guns in the desert and a rant by Al-Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri.

The report pointed out that the online operation, which has 2,000 members, has been run by a server based in Southampton for the past two years.

According to the report, Tory MP Patrick Mercer said that the authorities would ensure that the site is closed down as soon as possible, adding that ‘these messages of hate have no place on the net.’u00a0
