Farhan Akhtar attended Abhishek Kapoor's party for his latest release, putting to rest rumours about their alleged differences
Much has been said about the apparently strained relationship shared between one-time close friends Farhan Akhtar and Abhishek Kapoor. However, contrary to buzz that Farhan did not attend the premiere of the director’s latest release Kai Po Che, owing to their differences, the actor-filmmaker was in fact the star attraction at Gattu’s party to celebrate the film’s success.u00a0

According to sources present at the bash, Farhan not only came on time but also stayed back for a good couple of house and even danced with Abhishek. In fact, he also attended the after-party at Shaad Ali’s house and stayed on till the party ended. Incidentally, Ritesh Sidhwani decided to skip the party.
Our source says, “After coming to the party, Farhan immediately went up to Abhishek and hugged him, putting to rest all speculations. They were seen in an animated discussion for a long time before Gattu had to attend to his other guests. In fact later in the evening, both were seen even dancing together.”
Farhan’s appearance at the party made it clear that all was well between the two.

Rumours about some differences had previously crept up when Abhishek and Farhan-Ritesh had creative differences over the film. Post that, Abhishek took the script to producer Ronnie Screvwala.
