American skier Lindsey Vonn gets bitten by her pet dogs

Ameircan ski queen Lindsey Vonn needed stitches on her right thumb after she was bitten by her pet dogs — Leo and Bear — as she tried to stop a fight between them over a frisbee.

Describing the incident on her Twitter account, the Olympian wrote: "So the story is that my dogs got rowdy fighting over a dang frisbee and I tried to break it up but got bit instead. Fun weekend."


The 31-year-old even posted a video on Instagram of her injured right thumb and thanked US ski team physician Dr Randy Viola for fixing the finger.

She later posted an update, saying that her thumb was fine. Vonn loves her dogs so much that she has even made Instagram pages for both canines with the accounts showcasing pictures of her fun moments with them.
