British boxer Amir Khan's estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom said that she will raise her second child alone. Makhdoom, 26, announced on Twitter last week that she was pregnant with baby No. 2. "Alhumdulilah, blessed with baby number 2 in my tummy #excited eating away, can't stop," she wrote.

However, yesterday, according to British tabloid, The Sun, Makhdoom told her friends that she doesn't need the Pakistan-born Khan's help.

The couple, who have a three-year-old daughter Lamaisah, are currently continuing their bitter divorce battle after Khan accused the beauty of having an affair with heavyweight world boxing champ Anthony Joshua.

"Faryal's announcement came as a shock to everyone involved but she doesn't want anything more from Amir now. They're back on speaking terms, trying to keep everything civilised for the sake of their daughter and extended families, but the relationship is finished. She's a strong woman and the pregnancy isn't going to change that," a friend close to Makhdoom added.
