Though cricket is Angad Bedi's first love, the actor is now investing in a boxing league. He will own a team that is currently endorsed by British boxer Amir Khan.

Bedi tells mid-day, "I've been in Delhi for a few days to support Amir's team, Mumbai Assassins, in the Super Boxing League."

The actor admits that his decision to invest in a boxing team stemmed from a business proposition that appeared lucrative. "Considering how big the sport is today, this investment may be fruitful. Currently, we are finalising the details and should be ready to play in the next season."

The ongoing league, which kicked-off on July 5 and concludes on August 12, is seeing the participation of eight teams, few among which will be owned by actors, including Sunny Leone, Sushant Singh Rajput, Rana Daggubati and Suniel Shetty.

Priyanka Chopra will reportedly take over the North East team, but a final decision is yet to be taken.
