Deccan Chargers leg-spinner Amit Mishra was yesterday warned for using offensive language during an Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Rajasthan Royals.

In a statement, IPL said Mishra received an official warning and reprimand for the Level 1 offence (Article 2.1.4) of the use of offensive language during Tuesday’s match against Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Man Singh Stadium here. Rajasthan Royals, chasing a daunting 197 to win, defeated Deccan Chargers by five wickets.
