Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan put an end to online rumours about Dilip Kumar's death by tweeting that the veteran actor was 'perfectly fine'.

Rumours about Dilip Kumar's death spread online last evening prompting Bachchan to call Saira Banu.

"Some baseless rumours being spread about Yusuf Saheb - Dilip Kumar, being ill .. Saira ji just informed me he is perfectly fine!," Bachchan, 72, tweeted.

Dilip Kumar, 91, and Saira Banu, 70, recently attended Salman Khan's sister Arpita's wedding reception in Mumbai.
