Amitabh Bachchan yesterday accepted the proposal made by the Maharashtra government to be the brand ambassador of the state’s tiger conservation project.

Last week, the state government had written to Bachchan and cricketer Sachin Tendulkar to be the brand ambassadors for its tiger conservation project.
When asked about their remuneration, Maharashtra Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar had reportedly said that the state expected them to be involved without monetary considerations.
