PUNE: The Pesi Shroff-trained three-year-old Amore Mio, by Razeen out of Forest Treasure, has a good chance to land the spoils in the grade 2, F D Wadia Trophy, the feature event of Sunday's nine-race card. She will have to contend with stable-mate Blue Danube and the Bangalore challenger Messalina, a Padmanabhan-trained filly who impressively won her first and only start at Bangalore.
Interestingly, the Katrak-trained colt Versaki, arguably the best three-year-old in the land today, has opted to run in the Aldeburgh Trophy, for class II horses, and obviously chooses himself as the best betting proposition of the afternoon.
