“The character of Chander that I am playing is very different from the earlier ones. Also, my mother is a regular viewer of 'Waaris'. The character I play is drastically different from how I am in real life,” Angad, best known for his roles in shows like “Sapna Babul Ka...Bidaai” and “Ram Milaayi Jodi”, said in a statement.
“The shade of character is negative, but to top it all, he is cheap and ill-mannered too. I had to do a lot of preparations for this character... To learn the body language, pick up the slang of Chander.
It was difficult, but as an actor, the character helps me to show my prowess,” he added.
“Waaris”, which is based on cultural issues and shows a mother bringing up a girl child as a boy, also features Aarti Singh and Sania Touqueer among others. The show is aired on &TV.
