If sources are to be believed, Anil Kapoor is going out of his way to look for projects for his daughter. It is being said that the actor, who recommended Sonam for Sooraj Barjatya’s upcoming film, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, recently called for a meeting of his production house staff and asked them to be on the lookout for scripts that will suit Sonam.

Says a source, “Anil Kapoor has asked his team to look out for films whose rights can be bought or some books that can be adapted into films for Sonam. He wants them to come up with some women centric subjects, where she can fit in.”

But a source close to the actor says denies this, saying that it is not Anil Kapoor but Sonam’s sister Rhea who is at the helm of the things at their production house. “Anil only enters the picture once they have the script in place or the film has been
shot. Their production house is currently working on two other films that don’t feature Sonam because she is already busy doing other films outside the home banner.”

The source adds that he doesn’t interfere in Sonam’s career. “Anil is busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s Dil Dhadakne Do. He wasn’t even on the sets when Khoobsoorat was being shot; he only saw the film after it was completed,” the source says. The actor remained unavailable for comment.
