Ankur Nayyar, known for shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Meri Durga, has joined the cast of supernatural fantasy drama titled Nazar. The show boasts casting popular faces on television, Ankur being one of them. He will be playing the role of the male lead's on-screen father.
"I love to try new characters and this one seems to be really different and exciting. The concept of this show is unique and it made me curious to be a part of it," Ankur said in a statement to IANS.

"I enjoy shooting at night with the spooky background music and the ambience on set. I am happy and grateful to be part of the show," added the actor, who has also featured in movies like "Singham" and "Detective Naani". "Nazar" will soon be airing on Star Plus.
