Pips Heena Sidhu by less than a point in 10m air pistol final

Air India's Annu Raj of Air India pipped Punjab's Heena Sidhu of Punjab a nmarrow half point margin to clinch gold in the women's 10 air pistol event at the 55th National Shooting Championships here on Saturday.
The event also saw fancied shooters Anisa Sayed and Rahi Sarnobat fail to make it to the final list.

Chandigarh's Shweta Chaudhary took the brionze medal. Annu Raj tallied 388 points in comparison to Heena's 384 in the preliminaries.

Then in the 10-shot final, despite  Heena having shot 100.5 compared to Annu's 97.8, the Air India girl took the yellow metal with a better tally -- 485.8 compared to Sidhu's 484.5. Bronze medalist Chaudhary tallied 483.1. Meanwhile, Anisa and Rahi just 374 points each.
