Sanjay Leela Bhansali has cast Anupriya Goenka as Rani Nagmati, the first wife of Maharawal Ratan Singh, in 'Padmavati'. The actor features in the recently released 'Ghoomar' song of Deepika Padukone. She’s the one who is seen sitting in royal attire in the palace.

Anupriya is not exactly new to films having done bit roles in Bollywood and a South film. She played a lesbian character in an e-commerce brand ad. She starred with Kolkata-based fashion designer Neha Panda in the commercial, which talked about a live-in lesbian couple's dilemmas.
