The Voodoo app helps you find the coolest online deals on your smartphone

Have you found yourself constantly scanning e-commerce apps for better deals on products and services? What if we tell you about an app that saves the effort of visiting different websites, and gives a product’s price from various e-commerce apps at the top of the product page?

Voodoo app

Voodoo is the latest digital assistant that integrates with all shopping apps on your device, to help you get the best deals, compare prices and get coupons for online shopping. The app can also be used to find best deals for cabs as well as air fares.

For example, if you’ve been looking for a vacuum cleaner, and have come across one on an e-commerce app. Now, typically you would go to any other “compare price” website/app to find its prices on other e-commerce portals. But with this app, you don’t have to leave the product page at all.

A small icon on top of your phone screen automatically searches various e-commerce portals for your product. Once it’s done searching, which takes between two to three seconds, it will alert you. All you need to do is tap on the icon, and it will open a new window with your product’s prices from other websites, and coupons, if any. There is no need to search an item or leave the product page. It sits on top of it. So, as the app claims, it’s like a magic trick; except that here, it’s performed by a code running in the background.

What’s more, if you like a deal, you can browse to the product page by just tapping on it (either on the e-commerce app or your local browser). And if you don’t like a particular deal, you can return to your shopping page by pressing the back button.
Voodoo is a handy tool for online shopping, and most effective while shopping via e-commerce apps because being aware of a product’s price will help you make an informed choice.

However, there’s a catch. To make this service available, Voodoo is aware/stores your shopping habits, and thus, you end up telling a third party app what you are planning to buy online. We advise you to read the user permissions and privacy policy before installing the app. Besides, running Voodoo along with an e-commerce app means more data consumption. Despite these hitches, it’s a cool tool for online shopping.
