The 56-year-old singer and columnist, who was reportedly suffering from depression, ended her life Monday by shooting herself in the head at her residence in Prabhu Kunj apartments on Peddar Road.
According to sources close to the family, the funeral took place between 3 and4 am at Chandanwadi crematorium in Marine Lines.
