May 31st might turn out to be the D-day for nearly 3.8 lakh students waiting for the SEBA HSLC Result 2016. As per the latest update, the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) is expected to announce the SEBA Result 2016 for both HSLC and AHM Examinations today, 31st May 2016 at 11AM. As per tentative reports, the SEBA HSLC Result 2016 will be declared officially from the SEBA office in Guwahati. SEBA chairman Shri Dhandev Mahanta is likely to declare the Assam 10th Result formally in a press meet. Exam Schedule and student participation
This year, the Assam HSLC (High School Leaving Certificate) Examination was held in the month of March for more than 3.8 lakh students. The SEBA HSLC Exam began on 18th February with English language paper and concluded on 9th March with practical examination for different optional subjects. This year, the exam schedule for Assam HSLC Result 2016 was also affected by the ongoing Assam Assembly elections. To top this, more than 6,000 HSLC answer sheets of students were burnt down in a fire at an evaluation centre in Jorhat on 4th March 2016.
