Baahubali producer: Film can be instrumental in creating success stories
Baahubali producer Shobu Yarlagdda says magnum opus' inclusion in the IIM syllabus a positive trend
A day after reports of Baahubali: The Conclusion being included as a case study as part of electives in the syllabus of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, hit headlines, producer Shobu said the development is a "matter of pride" for the team. "Using the film as a case study could be instrumental in creating success stories like our own," he said.
The institution hopes to highlight the role played by a sequel in boosting the film's franchise. An insider said the makers will provide additional material to the institution. "The team will share details on how the story was conceived as a distinct sequel, and how they banked on the suspense surrounding the relationship between Baahubali and Katappa. They will also talk about keeping suspense around a film intact, despite threats of a leak, by collaborating with an anti-piracycell." The filmmaker's marketing strategy will also be part of the syllabus, the source said.
