The Manchester City striker gets a greasy mullet, hideous perm and bizarre new shaved style all in the space of 30 seconds in the commercial, the Daily Star reported.
The Italian footie star, who has one of the most distinctive haircuts in football, features in the clip in a barber’s shop.
After he’s called into the hairdresser’s hotseat, he gets a series of giggle-inducing changes to his famous Mohawk.
The barber asks: “What do you want?” Mario, 21, answers: “To be remembered.” The barber gives him dodgy cuts like Ronaldinho, 32, Neymar da Silva, 20, Ronaldo, 35, Carlos Valderrama, 50, before he settles on his Mohawk.
“Mario’s a sport. The ad will make you laugh,” an insider said.
