If sources are to be believed, the producers of Siddharth Anand's upcoming film, Bang Bang are worried about the film overshooting its budget. Apparently, the film's budget was around Rs 85-90 crore, but it has now cost the makers a whopping Rs 130 crore.

Starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif, the film has been shot in Thailand, Greece, Abu Dhabi, Mumbai and Delhi. Its last schedule is yet to be shot; the shoot is slated to take place soon in Prague; plus the film's marketing and postproduction costs will add to overall budget.

A source tells us that Fox Studios is upset about this bloated budget. "The film has overshot its budget right from the beginning and the costs continue to soar. The producers are worrying since the post production and marketing costs are yet to be taken into account."

Director Siddharth Anand, however, brushed aside the news completely. "It's funny! Yes, Bang Bang is a big-ticket film but its budget is as per the scale of the film. There's no question of exceeding it," he replied.

It may be pointed out that the film has faced quite a few hurdles so far. To start with, Hrithik had to undergo a surgery due to a head injury he got after performing a stunt.

The film was delayed to ensure that a fit Hrithik returned to the sets. Last year, the film's Kashmir schedule was cancelled and the makers decided to shoot those scenes in Shimla and Manali. Fox Studios remained unavailable for comment.
