Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are teaming up for an upcoming film based on the crime novel, How An Ex-Cop Rigged McDonald's Monopoly Game and Stole Millions. Affleck will be wielding the directorial baton in the Damon-starrer.

The film is based on Jeff Maysh's crime story, which was published on an American news website recently. Damon and Affleck will also co-produce the movie, while the script is being penned by the superhero flick Deadpool writer duo, Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese. The story revolves around a man named Michael Hoover, who claimed to have won the $1 million grand prize after collecting monopoly pieces in McDonalds, and a camera crew was dispatched to his home in Rhode Island.
