The five classic games available on hike are Snake, Solitaire, Chess, Word Rush and Sudoku.

The users can launch these games with just one tap and play them right inside hike.

“We are still in beta but the response has been tremendous with a 100 million plays in less than 30 days. Games on Hike enables everyone to enjoy them regardless of the capability of their smartphones,” said Kavin Bharti Mittal, founder and CEO, hike Messenger, in a statement.

A built-in social experience enables gamers to share scores and challenge friends.

All games are optimised to support a wide range of handsets, especially the low-cost smartphones with truncated bandwidth speeds.

Nearly 100 million users are exchanging 40 billion messages per month on the hike platform and 90 percent of them are below age 30, the statement read.
