Beyonce Knowles for 'The Great Gatsby' soundtrack
Pop star Beyonce Knowles will cover Amy Winehouse's 'Back to Black' for the soundtrack to 'The Great Gatsby', which is being scored by her husband Jay-Z.
The singer-and-actress has collaborated with Andre 3000 on the song for Baz Luhrmann's opulent drama, which is based on F Scott Fitzgerald's 1929 novel of the same name, reported E! online. "It's a very different take on 'Back to Black'," a source said.
The blockbuster 3D film, which stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton, Isla Fisher and Jason Clarke, is set in New York City during the Roaring Twenties and tells the story of a young man, whose fortunes change after meeting the enigmatic Jay Gatsby. 'The Great Gatsby' will hit theatres on May 10.
