Big budget story
Amish Tripathi who is looking forward to the release of his third book says Bollywood is gradually realising the importance of good storytelling.
The author has sold the rights of his debut novel to Karan Johar for big screen adaptation. While talking to CS, Amish emphasised on the importance of original stories.
He even referred to KJo and explained why the venture is going to take time. “He told me that the film they are working on is going to be one of the biggest-budget films in India.
Adapting a book like that is going to require a lot of preparations. His team is working on the script and I’m helping as a consultant,” says the writer.
