This Thursday, get ready to experience an evening of music and non-stop dancing with DJ Subhash Moitra. Known for his unique Big Room bangers, the Raipur-based DJ will be spinning some of his most popular and other popular Big Room tracks from around the globe.

Big Room is a new genre in Electronic Dance Music, which combines the melodic nature of Progressive House and the energy of Electro House/Trance together in one single track. The result is a sound characterised by emotional breakdowns with long build-ups and followed by an energetic and melodic drop.
“Big Room tracks are generally not played in the city, but I’m sure people will like it,” says the DJ, adding that he will not be playing any Commercial tracks at the performance.
Moitra says that unlike what one may believe, DJing is much more than just mixing tracks. “To become a good DJ, one must first understand the music properly. Just by mixing tracks one cannot become a DJ,” he adds.
