American tennis great says actor Emma makes her look good on screen in the biopic Battle of the Sexes

Former USâu00c2u0080u00c2u0088tennis star Billie Jean King reckons that actor Emma Stone, who is playing her in the biopic — Battle of the Sexes, made her look good on screen.

"Emma, thanks for making me look so good," King was quoted as saying by British entertainment website Female First.

Stone said that she found playing the sports star challenging because she had never played a real person in a movie before. "I've never played a real person before and it's like this person is an icon and an absolute badass that I could never even hope to be exactly like. Capturing the essence was very important to us. It was super challenging," Stone told Hollywood Reporter.
The La La Land star admitted that King generously shared the information about her life which made filming of the biopic easier.
"She [King] was so warm and welcoming and open to all of it. She was generous with her story that it made it much easier than if she was like, 'Please don't make this movie about me, good night,' " added Stone.
