BJP to donate Rs 1 crore for flood victims in Tamil Nadu

The BJP has decided to donate Rs 1 crore to help the people hit by the floods in Tamil Nadu.

New Delhi: The BJP has decided to donate Rs 1 crore to help the people hit by the floods in Tamil Nadu.

"BJP will donate Rs 1 crore to help the people affected by the floods in Tamil Nadu," party General Secretary Arun Singh, said, adding, a decision to this effect was taken by its President Amit Shah.

The BJP has already formed a three-member delegation to visit the flood-affected areas of the state and it will submit its report to the party President.

Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman heads the group whose other two members are Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan and MP Gopal Chinayya Shetty.
