Black Eyed Peas singer to debut new track on Mars
Sure, some musicians decide to launch a new single on YouTube or something but for Will.i.am, the Black Eyed Peas singer, it's all about performing on Mars!
Well, sort of. Tomorrow the singer will debut his song, Reach for the Stars in conjunction with NASA. Essentially, this means NASA will blast it through their speakers on the Curiosity rover which is currently on Mars!
At that point, the song will get beamed back to students at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California. The rocker will be in the lab itself to announce a collaboration between NASA and his charity, the i.am.angel Foundation.
His foundation aims to transform lives through education and opportunity. It provides assistance to needy students who want to attend college through another one of his programs — i.am.scholarship.
