However, considering the hype and fanfare surrounding their D-day and prying eyes of the paparazzi, several film celebs have been opting for low-key ceremonies at exotic locations, better known as a destination wedding.
The latest example is Shahid Kapoor, who will reportedly get hitched to Delhi college student Mira Rajput in Greece on June 10. Earlier, there was speculation that the ‘betrothed’ couple will exchange wedding vows in the scenic island of Bali.

Lara Dutta and Mahesh Bhupathi said ‘I do’ in Victorian style at the erstwhile Portuguese fort of Aguada, Goa, on February 16, 2011. The venue overlooked the Indian Ocean, offering a breathtaking backdrop to the knotty affair.
