South Bombay Bar, Worli
This hip bar with snazzy interiors and a ceiling featuring a mural of a vintage map of South Mumbai is an all-day café and go-to party destination by night. Perfect to display some very OTT Bolly expressions, these guys play a spectrum of songs from old to the new and yes, they do have the SoBo swish set's nod of approval. The unplugged nights on Fridays and Sundays see various artistes perform. The menu includes tandoori wasabi prawns and smoked goat's cheese samosa. Didn't you hear us say South Bombay already?

The Terrace, A Maiden Affair, Andheri
On Friday nights, this new space in Andheri plays commercial Bollywood songs that you can dance to; but the real tadka is when the Punjabi tracks and soulful Sufi numbers are played. The decor is modern. There is al fresco seating (in case you need some air between dancing) and the food is progressive multi-cuisine. Think wholesome smoothie bowls and tempura baos. The drinks are made with natural organic sweeteners like jaggery, banana powder, edible flowers and homemade liquors.

For 10 years, this has been a go-to place for tasting the cool, vibrant nightlife in Navi Mumbai. Over messy burgers, four-meat pizza, or mutton kheema pav, enjoy their retro themed Disko Nites, a flagship featuring '90s Bollywood songs with their original videos, with DJ Praveen Nair. For this, crowds come in all the way from South Mumbai, Thane, and Pune. Saturdays feature Blockbuster Nites with popular Bollywood dance numbers, including Bolly hip hop and Bolly club remixes.
