Johar, who gave two back to back hits this year with 'Hasee Toh Phasee' and '2 States', is all set to make his acting debut in Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' in 2014. The 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' helmer recently finished his fourth season of the chat show 'Koffee with Karan'. His good friend and director Farah Khan tweeted, "Happy birthday Karan Johar this year have lots of what I always wish for you every year."
Actress Alia Bhatt, who made her debut in Bollywood with Johar's 'Student of the Year', tweeted, "Happy birthday to my daddy!!! Love you soo soo much Karan Johar." Another producer friend Ritesh Sidhwani wrote, "Karan Johar happy birthday my friend heard u had a killer night.. Speak soon luv." Johar had an 'epic party' last night at his residence here on the eve of his birthday.
