Today's MSSA U-16 Div I title battle between Bombay Scottish (Mahim) and St Lawrence (Kandivli) at the astro turf-laden Cooperage promises to be an interesting affair.
The Mahim side having reached here after a come-from-behind 2-1 semi-final win over defending champions Don Bosco (Matunga), are being touted as the favourites to win the title. However, the fact that they have lost to the Kandivali school 0-3 in the league phase, give St Lawrence the edge.

"We were lucky to beat Scottish in the league phase at the MSSA ground in Azad Maidan. Tomorrow is a different day, different venue. We have a slight edge as we are unbeaten so far, but cannot take Scottish lightly," said St Lawrence coach Laxman Singh Bisht.
Scottish coach Adib Kenkre is not taking things for granted either. "Our boys were very excited to play the semis on the turf on Wednesday. They didn't realise that playing two matches in three days on the turf is tough. The winner will be the team with better stamina."
