Quvenzhane Wallis, the nine-year-old 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' actress, has been nominated at the Oscars 2013.
CS tells you a bit about the little star:
>> Quvenzhané Wallis, born on August 28, 2003, is an American child actress.
>> She is the youngest actress ever to receive a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Actress.
>> She is currently attending Hounduras Elementary School in Houma, Louisiana. She has an older sister, Qunyquekya, and two older brothers, Vejon and Venjie Jr.
>> At the age of five, Quvenzhané had to lie about her age to audition for her very first acting job-the starring role in Beasts of the Southern Wild because the minimum age to be considered was six. She eventually beat out some 4,000 contenders. She was just six years old during the making of the film.
