The 39-year-old former fast bowler has teamed up with Bollywood producer-director Anupam Sharma for romantic comedy "Unindian".

"No, I don't know if I miss cricket (or not). I am trying out different things right now like acting," he told PTI.

Lee, may not be playing cricket anymore, but does follow the game.

"They (Indian team) are going well. They have lot to offer. (Indian bowler Jasprit) Bumrah has got good pace. Virat Kohli is the best...He is world's best," he added.

Set in in Sydney, the English-language film tells the story of the cultural challenges that two characters,-- Australian Will (Brett) and Indian Meera (Tannishtha Chatterjee)--face as they get into a relationship.

The movie was released in Australia last year and is set to hit the theaters in India on August 19.

"My family loved watching "Unindian". The first five minutes of the film they were watching me as their son and then Will the character and that to me is a compliment," Lee said.

The cricketer-turned-actor, who has a duet, "You're the One for Me", with legendary singer Asha Bhosle to his credit, has once again explored the musician in him with the upcoming movie.

"I had great time working with her (Asha Bhosle) on the song. There is a song in "Unindian" I have written and composed," he said.

Lee also plans to hold music concerts. "There is a plan with myself and couple of other people of doing concerts," he added.

The sports star has been to India on various occasions owing to the cricket matches held here, but he hardly got time to see the country.

"I am getting to see India lot more today than it was in the past. I was like going from airport to hotel to (cricket) ground. Now I am getting to see India and I am appreciating it," he added.
