Bring home a pal

Do your bit for the city's stray dogs and cats by opting for a calendar by Plant and Animal Lovers Society (PALS) that will go towards fund raising activities to look after them

Every year as part of its fund raising activities, Plant and Animal Lovers society (PALS), prints a special calendar featuring stray or abandoned dogs, cats and birds. The good bit is that the proceeds from the sale of the calendar go to funding PALS which, run by a team of veterinarians and volunteers, is dedicated to the cause of stray dogs, cats and injured birds in Mumbai.

Apart from sterilising stray dogs and cats, vaccinating them against rabies and treatment of sick and injured animals, PALS also finds them homes with loving families. Under the auspices of the Indian Navy, PALS also maintains a Dog Camp at Navy Nagar where local strays are looked after. The calendar has been shot and designed by Coco Mukherjee.
