No one hurt in the incident, technical problems cited

A man had a narrow escape when a major fire broke out in his car while he was on his way home in Munirka area in south Delhi late on Sunday night.

A police officer said that the blaze broke out due to a technical problem and no one was hurt in the incident.
"The car belongs to Karambir Gulia who works in Noida. He was returning home to sector 6 in R K Puram.

Meanwhile, when he approached near R K Khanna stadium in the area the fire broke out. Gulia informed the police and fire brigade officials regarding the incident," said the police officer.

Gulia had attached a CNG kit in his car bearing number plate DL3CBR0134 but the nature of the technical problem is yet to be ascertained.
